HERE’S A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT ME AND MY BEGINNINGS.

I love to create functional and practical pieces. I’m passionate about using salvaged materials -whether it be from antique flooring, beans from a demolished fire station or discarded pallets- giving them a new purpose and a new life!

Welcome to KLAPOSTA WOODWORKING!!!!

It all started back in junior high. Woodworking classes became available for girls for the first time. I loved the class from the very first day! Once we completed the required projects, we were able to make anything you wanted. Being so new at the craft, I had no idea what to make next. so I asked my mom,” What would you like me to make?” Some of the items I made where a bookcase, side table and hamper. In high school I made a coffee table and a set of benches for our dining room table. Some of these pieces have been repurposed and are still being used today. This is where the functional and practical started for me and is with me today.
